About Yanexy Vera
Hi, I’m Yanexy Vera, a Licensed School Psychologist helping children, teens, and families transform potential into progress.
From the very beginning of my career, I’ve been passionate about one thing — helping students feel seen, capable, and supported. In my 18 years of experience, I’ve seen how much difference it makes when families finally have clear answers and a plan that truly fits their child.
I founded Vera Psychological Testing Services because I wanted to create a space where the evaluation process feels calm, compassionate, and empowering — not intimidating. Every child’s story is unique, and I view testing as a means to uncover that story, rather than define it.
I’m certified by both the Florida Department of Education and the National Association of School Psychologists, and I am licensed by the Florida Department of Health to serve students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12. My professional background includes over fifteen years of experience evaluating students. As a bilingual (English–Spanish) psychologist, I’m committed to providing culturally responsive evaluations that reflect each child’s full potential — academically, linguistically, and emotionally.
